The ‘07 Bollywood film `Saawariya’ (i.e.: Beloved) is one of the most visually stunning films I’ve seen in quite some time. The storyline is one of those unrequited love themes that we’re all familiar with; Raj (Ranbir Kapoor) falls in love with Sakina (Sonam Kapoor) who is in love with Imman (Salman Khan). While Imaan is away Raj attempts to win his way into Sakina’s heart while another woman, a local prostitute played by Rani Mukherjee both narrates the love story as an objective observer and plays the part of a forlorn lover who hopes to win Raj for herself.

Though the tale unfolding is as old as time the presentation is inventive magical and totally mesmerizing. The soundtrack is also quite good though not quite your usual Bollywood faire, drift back and forth between festive and upbeat to melancholy and haunting. Well worth a watch for the visuals and music alone. If you enjoyed `Moulin Rouge’ than you should certainly appreciate this film too.

I watched “Saawariya” at the cinema and I though it was just amazing.

The best thing about this movie is the amazing sets and landscapes. It’s pure art, and what better way to experiance it than 1080p ! Most of the songs are great and mesmerizing, the plot is great although the script could have been better.

All in all this Bluray is a must have for all Bollywood fans who want to experiance a little “masala” in high defenition for the very first time !

Part I (5 stars): Funny, I’m just not a big “karate buff”, in fact, this probably is the only set of movies like this I own, or may ever own. When I tell people this is one of my favorite movies *ever*, they laugh. Then they say, “Are you serious?” And my words to explain why always fall short. Beyond the karate, beyond the underdog nature, there lie two characters that seem to compliment each other so perfectly it really makes the movie what it is regardless of the subject matter. Something about the chemistry between Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio simply defies convention and thrives on it. The casting by all involved was surely just one part luck, one part fortune, the DVD extras merely icing. My only complaint is this not being mastered to 5.1 DD sound.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Karate Kid Collection! Click Here

*edit* I watched the commentary last night and I must say I was disappointed. Pat Morita’s input was intrusive, and many comments made by the group were simply uncalled for. When Elizabeth Shue would walk away from the camera they would comment about her rear end and totally ruined a part of my respect for them. They went on to ridicule an “extra” who became a greeter of some sort. They laughed and carried on through the whole thing. At the beginning I thought, well they are a lively group, but after 45 minutes it wore thin and I wished then I would have turned it off. There were a few bits here and there I learned, but what I really learned is why companies have the disclaimer at the beginning of the movies.

Part II (4 stars): I’m kind of ashamed of avoiding this movie now. As much as I loved the first I never bothered with the second. I’ve just never been fond of sequels. Be it Back to the Future Two, the Lost World, or the hundred other sub par sequels, they just seem to mar the original product. However, here at Amazon I read that this story picks up 5 minutes after the first and that peaked my interest. Previously, I just assumed it would be directionless swill. So wrong. The score, the heart, the soul, and even the casting practically live up to the first, and I’m shocked at that. In fact Daniels love interest in this even out does the first!! Having the impact on me this film had 19 years after it was made is quite remarkable. It’s not without it’s flaws though, the last 15-20 minutes really just seemed to lose steam, the “storm” sequence being almost painful. Sad that there are no extra’s to speak of, this movie may have been even more interesting to hear about.

Buy,Download, Or Stream The Karate Kid Collection! Click Here

Part III (3 stars): Definitely the weakest of the three, still a must see for the simple fact that Pat and Ralph still have that spark. Sadly, the casting choices for the villains are overwrought and the story just seems forced. I suppose the concept was losing its impact but regardless, the script just wasn’t well thought out. Again, this picks up right after Part II and there is just something about this continuity that makes me think John Avildsen has courage and vision. The weakest part of the script easily being the “sign the paper” portions that defied common sense, still like Part II I’m simply shocked these movies are not disastrous “1 out of 5’s” (as some here at Amazon alluded to) although having the original director onboard surely meant these movies had the stability they needed… and deserved. Having viewed Parts II and III has forever altered the way I will view Part I, and I’m relieved to report it’s all for the better. They only enhanced what I knew and make me appreciate it that much more. Why not have commentary on all three movies?

The Next Karate Kid (2 stars): I’m trying to view this as a sort of “bonus movie” within the packaged set. While 2 stars may seem low I think this movie does contain some decent performances by Hillary and Pat. The problem again is the script, hell, even the premise. So, a middle aged woman lets a friend of her fathers move in with her teenage daughter while she goes and stays at his home California? Please. A big problem are the overzealous sadistic “TV Movie” quality of just about everyone except the two leads. Even the love interest in this is so utterly flat it is totally deflated. Most of what should have had an impact (like the Hawk) didn’t and a certain parts (like “Zen” bowling) seemed like embarrassing filler.

While some critics dismiss “The Karate Kid” as a 1980s teen movie, I place it in the same category as such classics as “Star Wars”, “Rocky” and “Jaws.” It is a beautifully-written, -acted and -directed film that pulls at your heartstrings and makes you cheer. Pat Morita’s Mr Miyagi (for which he received an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor) is one the archetypal characters in American film. His relationship with Ralph Maccio’s Daniel LaRusso is as genuine and touching as any you will find in film. I remember seeing it in the theater when I was very young and the audience exploding into applause at the final “crane kick” scene. That does not happen very often.

The DVD of the entire series is now available (Part 2 is decent but Parts 3 and 4 are not). The best DVD feature is the making-of documentary. It’s been 21-years since this film was in theaters and all the major contributors are still alive and in good spirits for the documentary. Everyone involved in the project sees this movie as the pinnacle of their careers (and I agree with them).

This is one of my favorite films. I give it my highest recommendation.

Georgia Byrd (Queen Latifah) works in retail. On the side, she’s in the church choir, and afterwards goes home and cooks while watching Emeril on TV. One day at work, she bumps her head and needs a cat scan. From the results of the CAT scan, the doctor then tells Georgia that she has a brain tumor and has three weeks to live. Upset and distraught, she goes home to look through her “Book of Possibilities” book (a book with all the goals she wants to achieve). Thinking it’s all over, she takes a trip to Czechoslovakia. While there, Georgia has the time of her life. She bungee jumps, snowboards, and so much more. During her stay, people around her start wondering who exactly she is.

…a feel good movie, with a bit of a love story to it. Last Holiday is a smart comedy that will leave you thinking about life. Latifah is exquisite and also very funny. Two thumbs way up!

Queen Latifah stars in this endearing movie that forces the audience to question their own lives. Queen is told that she only has a few weeks to live, and she finds out that she has to learn a hard lesson about living life instead of waiting for the perfect time for things to happen. While this movie does force the viewer to think about life, there are some very funny moments. LL Cool J was surprisingly good in this film, and the rest of the supporting cast was wonderful.

I’m not a Brad Pitt fan. His physical attributes don’t astound and thrill me! But, I’ve got to give it to him: He was convincing in his dual roles as the coffee shop sweetie and Mr. Death. Claire Forlani, whom I’ve never seen in a film before was simply luminous. She’s the perfect Susan in this parable of one man’s last days on earth. Anthony Hopkins as Bill Parrish is remarkable, as always. He truly makes you feel as though he’s a man with little time left and has to spend the rest of his alloted time cleaning up his act, making amends with his loved ones, assuring his daughters that he loves them and has always loved them. Also, Marcia Gay Hardin and Jeffrey Tambor are both extremely good as the number two daughter (in her father’s heart) and her slightly inept (business wise) husband. They’re both touching. I wasn’t put off by the length of the film. I think we should take the time to savor some things in life. Slow down, relax and enjoy this beautiful offering from Martin Brest. You did a good job, Marty!

I’ll admit that only morbid curiosity led me to watch this movie upon it’s initial release. The premise of this remake sounded interesting, but the over the top costs and production problems had been tabloid fodder for months. When it didn’t do blockbuster business, not many people were surprised.

It’s a shame that this movie didn’t do better than mediocre reviews and lukewarm boxoffice receipts. There I sat in the audience marveling at the gorgeous design and antiques, not to mention the exquisite costume design. So many films these days go for established designers, but this movie used a studio designer much like the days of the old Hollywood system. The attention to detail is exquisite.

As for the acting, it all boiled down to one scene for me. Anthony Hopkins describing the first time he’d ever had a lamb sandwich to Brad Pitt. It turns into one of the most beautiful remembrance speeches of a widower for the wife he still grieves. Needless to say even this heartless cynic got a bit misty. To have a man express such love without sounding condescending or corny is quite a feat. It’s enough to make you believe in the power of a good actor.

Brad Pitt also deserves kudos for this role. Despite living through a personal hell and sustaining an injury, he does a great job in his double role. I thought the scene in which Death says good bye to Claire Forlani’s character was some of his best acting.

In 2001, Disney released “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse”, a Christmas special from the House of Mouse TV Show. And like most Disney releases, once it’s released, don’t expect to see another release again for years. And in this case, 8 years later (2009) and right in time for the holidays, “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse” is back.

This Christmas episode is about how all the Disney characters (characters from nearly every Disney animated film) are stranded at the House of Mouse (a night club) due to a snow storm. So, Mickey being the gracious host that he is, is trying to bring home that Christmas spirit and entertain his guest. The problem is that Donald Duck is not having a great time is like the scrooge at the Christmas party. So, Mickey tries to make Donald happy and entertain his guest by showing classic Disney animated shorts which include:

* Donald On Ice (1999) - Donald tries to learn to skate, while Huey, Dewey and Louie try to build a snowman. But unfortunately, Donald’s inability to skate tends to ruin the triplets chance at building their snowman.

* Pluto’s Christmas Tree (1952) -Mickey cuts down a Christmas Tree and doesn’t know that the Chipmunks: Chip & Dale are living in the tree. Unfortunately, Chip & Dale tend to drive Pluto nuts and thus Pluto does what he can to get the Chipmunks.

* The Nutcracker (1999) - A young girl (played by Minnie Mouse) receives a present (which is a wooden mouse) and dreams for it to become real, so she can dance with him.

* Mickey’s Christmas Carol (1983) - The popular Disney Christmas animated short features the story of Scrooge McDuck and how he’s mean to everyone for Christmas until he learns a lesson from the Spirit of Christmas past.

VIDEO & AUDIO:

“Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In a the House of Mouse” is an animated full-length feature that features nice, vibrant animation during the more modern “House of Mouse” television show. But each time the feature switches to the animated shorts, you get mixed results in terms of picture quality due to some of these animated shorts being over 30/50-years old. But overall, the classics due show a difference in animation quality but for those who enjoyed animation like “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” or even the older classic animated short “Pluto’s Christmas Tree”, although not digitally remastered, these classics due hold up well on DVD decades later.

As for audio, “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In a the House of Mouse” is featured in DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1. The series is primarily front and center channel driven and personally, I didn’t notice any surround or LFE usage but dialogue is clear and understandable.

Subtitles are presented in English SDH.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

“Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse” comes with the following special features:

* Premiere Episode of House of Mouse - (23:07) An episode of “House of Mouse” featuring various Disney characters from popular animated films visiting the House of Mouse nightclub. Meanwhile, Pete buys the building of where the House of Mouse is located and wants to shut down the cartoon club.

* The Sounds of Christmas - (2:33) A Disney sound engineer teaches children how to make sounds using objects and how they were utilized in certain animation.

* SingAlong “Deck the Halls” - (1:50) Karaoke SingAlong to “Deck the Halls” with animation from “Pluto’s Christmas Tree”.

* SingAlong Song “Sleigh Ride” - (1:57) Karaoke SingAlong to “Sleigh Ride” with animation from “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”.

JUDGMENT CALL:

I watched “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse” with my toddler and he absolutely loved it and wanted to watch it again. And as a holiday family feature, it is an entertaining release that will be fun, due to the number of Disney characters seen throughout the feature.

With that being said, for those who own the recent release of Walt Disney Animated Shorts Collection or other Disney releases probably have the animated shorts on previously released DVD’s. Those who own the original release from 2001, there is really is nothing new on this DVD with the exception of the new trailers. In fact, if you are a fan who mainly wants this release for its holiday-related animated shorts, then you may want to check out the just released “Disney Animation Collection 7: Mickey’s Christmas Carol” which comes with “Mickey’s Christmas Carol”, “Pluto’s Christmas Tree” and two other Disney classics.

But with this release of “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse”, if you are a “House of Mouse” fan, you do get the premiere episode of “House of Mouse” and other short entertaining holiday special features. I do admit that I wished that the DVD release had more interactivity like other Disney releases with games or something extra.

Overall, “Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse” is entertaining for young and old as it does feature newer and older animation and if you don’t own these animated shorts on another previously released Disney collection, it’s worth checking out. But if you do have these shorts already, it’s kind of hard to recommend it as the majority of the content in this feature are those classic shorts.

So, for parents who are looking for a Disney holiday release, as mentioned earlier, my son loved it and wanted to watch it again. So, yes it is an entertaining and fun Disney holiday release. I recommend Disney fans looking for a an animated holiday release to also purchase a copy of “Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas” (2004), if you don’t own it already.

When Disney brought Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and essentially the entire casts of animated features to Saturday morning and other daytime TV in 2001, it was done in grand style with an effort to create something that would please fans and young viewers, being hip as well as classic.

It’s a testimony to those involved with House of Mouse that such an impossibly tall order was carried off so much of the time. Sure, the new animation is markedly different from vintage stuff, but even the Wonderful World of Disney combined the flowing, straight line animation with the “scritchy” xerox look of the early ’60s. The main issue is, does the final product entertain?

My son sure loved it, and he’s seen very little of House of Mouse because it’s not on TV much and there are precious few DVDs. I found myself laughing out loud at the rapid fire gags and “inside” jokes on Disney characters. Most of all, for me it was fun to spot characters like the Gingerbread Man from Cookie Carnival and Elliot from Pete’s Dragon.

That’s not to say that House of Mouse is uneven — the Brian Setzer theme and overall rock/swing music is a great way to keep it fresh yet classic. The references to Backstreet Boys and the like are no different than big band crooner nods in ’40s cartoons.

Unlike much animation for television, House of Mouse contains lots of purely visual sequences, short as they are, and short cartoons, which are also shorter than the theatrical type. These cartoons abound with gags — clearly a lot of work went into them by people who, by and large, generally cared about the early work and actually liked it. I can forgive occasional lapses in graphic quality because of the sheer beauty of the comical poses, especially for Donald. Clearly these poses are the foundation of animation that by necessity is produced in and out of the country. It’s inspired by the work of the Disney masters, and probably was researched by the series staff.

Mickey’s Magical Christmas is a special House of Mouse that extends to feature length, containing new cartoons as well as Pluto’s Christmas Tree and Mickey’s Christmas Carol. As a bonus, the premiere episode of House of Mouse in included — a very funny story in which Donald takes over the ‘toon club.

This DVD is also a bit of a tribute to the late Wayne Allwine, who voiced Mickey since Christmas Carol and is heard throughout. Surely it was unintentional, since this is a DVD reissue, but Wayne also appears on camera, guiding guests through the Disney sound effects department, where he worked with Jimmy Macdonald and from whom he took on the mantle of Mickey’s voice. This DVD is worth having just for his short bonus feature, “The Sounds of Christmas.”

I sure would like to see more House of Mouse on DVD and so would my kids…

I first began collecting the Karin Series last year when it was released by Geneon after the third volume it was gone. Gone! and all the trades said it was gone for good! Off into a vast anime oblivion, discontinued due to a failed distribution company. Thankfully My Personal Heroes at Funimation Entertainment caught the rights to distribute Karin and other Geneon Niche titles to the US and Canada.

Well enough of the history lesson. This anime is truly a great piece of art, and No I don’t believe I’m overstating it either. The Original Manga by Yuna Kagesaki differs somewhat from the anime namely the anime could not be an exact expression of Manga-ka Kagesaki’s vision it had to be cut down to fit into a 25 episode series, and “work for TV”. The Manga covers over 13 volumes of text and art. (avilable fom Tokyopop under the title Chibi Vampire) originaly published in “Monthly Dragon Magazine” and “Monthly Comic Dragon” in Japan. The animation was done by JC Staff known for fanservice, but, though evident, it is toned way down in the this series. The now defunct Odex of singapore produced the English dub. The English version was written and directed at Odex by American voice artist and puppetteer. Mr. Paul Pistore. Who’s script provided a very fluid dialect in English, which in my opinion captured the original writers intent fully. I have shaired many e-mails with Mr. Pistore regarding his work on Karin and other more recent projects. The main cast besides Mr. Pistore consists of Ms. Chelsea Curto as Karin Marker, and Mr. Yahav Rom as Kenta Usui. Both are excelent matches for their respective charicters, along with Mr. Pistore and the balance of the cast, well they should all be recognized for their work.

Karin is a very emotional story of unexpected love between classmates Kenta Usui, the new transfer student from the north with funny eyes, and Karin Marker, a popular, yet youthfully awkward child of immigrant parents who has lived her life in Japan as a native aparently since early childhood.

Here’s one of the hooks, Karen is a vampire. Or rather her situation is being an outsider in her own family. Instead of sucking or rather drinking human blood Karin’s body overproduces blood which she must either inject into a “victim” or she suffers painful and profuse nose bleeds, this qualifies her as an un-vampire.

“Look for a more friendly vampire mythos in Karin, it’s not the same old Dracula, Twilight, Forever Knight, Ann Rice, stuff. It’s much more… Friendly, as I said, and Karinesque vampires are more like a subspecies of human than the usual ‘undead bloodsucker mythos’ which we’ve all seen before.”

Considering this is a vampire title I was astounded to see the morality that each charicter shows. Kenta Usui dreams of working hard and being a good citizen and a family man. Karin also works hard like Kenta is genuenly a moral person, her family, though vampiric is a traditional nuclear family, and despite family disputes they all appear in their own way to love and support Karin. There really are no villans, only people with different perspectives.

One interisting thing is that Kenta is not bound to Karin by some spell, curse, transdimentional warp, Renfield like devotion, or any other anime cliche’ devise, as I would have expected. His bond to Karin Grows out of his and her personalities, and his desire to be friendly and a good man. Karin’s situation is a little more camplex. She feels uneasy near Kenta and has nose bleeds, she cheers herself, and himself up by making him a bento lunch, daily! As time goes by, boy and girl together, well you know.

I think Love would have come to the couple sooner if they weren’t constantly interupted by, Vampire hunters, classmates, and Karin’s family attempting to stop their budding relationship.

This anime is also very much about acceptance. When Kenta finds out about Karin’s vampiric heritage, he does not freak out, he accepts her as she is. Later Karin’s friends find out her secret and they accept her. Even the supposed villians accept her, and eventualy Karin’s family accepts Kenta, except for her father Henry Marker (voiced by Paul Pistore) who is stereotypicaly overprotective of his teenage daughter.

I think of this series and it makes me smile. It works as a shonen and as a shojo title. It’s so darn emotional and downright sweet, you’ll have to brush your teeth/fangs afterwards, or you’ll get cavities.

Karin is one of those unmistakably quirky but loveable Geneon properties that many anime fans (such as myself) feared would go down with the ship. Fortunately, Funimation has been diligent in their efforts of tossing out the lifeboats for countless such titles by re-releasing them to the North American market in all their original glory.

Released across 6 DVDs, the Funimation version of Karin consists of three thin packs (each containing two discs) within a tasteful cardboard slipcase. The show comes in at a 580-minute runtime and wears a fairly conservative 13+ rating. There is no real nudity to report (save for some covered-up body models in the opening) and the language is friendly to viewers of all ages. Sure there are a few juvenilely creepy vampire moments, but in all, this is definitely a title that will charm members of all age demographics.

The story goes something like this: Karin Maaka may seem like a perfectly normal teeny-bopper/ high school student with all of the usual dilemmas to keep her occupied: Dating, zits, anemia and the desire to bite into people’s necks.

Sure that last one isn’t that uncommon among the teenage set, keep in mind that our title character is in fact the middle child in a family of futuristic vampires who’ve made Japan their home.

As if being a vampire wasn’t enough, Karin is a reverse vampire (or an “un-vampire” as the case may be). This means that she doesn’t rely upon sucking the blood of others to live but rather makes her own supply just like the rest of us. Before you start to wonder if you are in fact a vampire as well, her condition is unique in that she makes too much of the red-stuff and has to bite others to get rid of some of her own.

Here’s the catch, Karin literally has to get rid of her excess corpuscles or risk volatile nose-bleeds as her body rids itself of the extra blood. The good news is that her victims don’t suffer from the bite/ injection but actually feel revitalized and refreshed (a trick that I’m forced to reply upon Red Bull to duplicate).

Another interesting facet of her “condition” is that the mood of those surrounding her has a distinct effect on her body’s blood affinity. In other words, Karin’s body starts working in overdrive in blood production when she’s around miserable people (good thing she doesn’t live around here). As such, the poor girl is often found doing all she can to try to better the moods of those around her.

Following in the footsteps of such classic shows as The Addam’s Family or The Munsters, a lot of Karin’s appeal comes from the fact that her family life is, for all facts and circumstances, surprisingly normal. Karin shares room and board with a brother, Ren and sister Anju with some fairly stereotypical parents (think protective father and quick-to-butt-in mother).

While her family may play the more traditional vampire role, Karin herself (don’t forget she is an un-vampire) lacks some of the typical traits such as vulnerability to sunlight, night vision, and the ability to erase memories. Yes she has the fangs but that only inhibits her on class-picture day.

The show itself just plain works, partially because Karin is a lovable lead character and partially because the whole vampire angle adds a nice element of mystery to the typical high-school comedy genre.

The show is as much High School Musical as it is Twilight and that’s not a bad thing. The heavy load of hiding the fact that she and hers are technically members of the “living dead”, teen romance, high school shenanigans, and a whole lot of coming of age in the modern world spruces things up.

Perhaps its greatest strength is how tastefully and humorously the context manages to parallel Karin’s unique blood dilemma to the budding menstrual cycles of all girls of similar age. As such many of the situations and tense moments have an inherent scale of relatability and realism.

Karin’s biggest weakness comes in the form of the art and animation, which isn’t anything spectacular. Not that either actually take away from a viewer’s ability to enjoy the smooth pacing and just plain fun prose, the backgrounds and character models are nothing spectacular either. The fan-service that managed to cause a bit of a reputation in the manga source-material has pretty much been eliminated entirely in the transition to anime (again except for the opening sequence, which hints toward much more risqué material than the show ever delivers).

The sound track is a mixed bag as well with upbeat pop numbers and smooth instrumentals that perfectly accent the teeny-theme of the show but the English dub isn’t one of the strongest out there. Like the visuals, the dub work is passable but not quite the butter-smooth masterwork that is so common with Funimation properties.

In all, this is a fun show that manages to capture the small moments of teenage life and blend them with a fictional backdrop nearly perfectly. Because the writers initially decided to add a unique twist on the vampire theme, Karin ends up being one of those rare shows that will hold viewer interest regardless of their personal genre tastes. The humor works and the drama never becomes so heavy that it drags the well-constructed prose down.

I agree with the wheel gripes. The wheels are injection molded with a very thin plastic, one of mine had a slash in it and collapsed on first use.

So, I went up to farm and fleet and bought two new wheels with steel center and solid rubber, heavy tread, put them on and it is perfectly mobile over any terrain, now.

I also agree Makita fudges on the specs.

Most important though is the performance in use, and there, it shines. I’ve used similar double tank units from other manufacturers and much prefer the design of this unit. It stores connectors and a hose, handle breaks down for storage/transport, It is made very well and is quiet for a unit this size.

It does draw power on the initial kick on, as they all do. I’d hoped to run this on my Yamaha 2500 watt generator, which is equivelant to a 20 amp circuit, but no go. It blows the breaker everytime. And the Yamaha runs a portable DeWalt table saw, jet 1200cfm dust collector and a chop saw just fine (not all at the same time!)

So, while it is not perfect, it is a good performer and I’m very satisfied with the comressor at the cost.

I bought the Makita 5200 after I had read all the reviews, almost even before it was out of the box the wheels had been replaced (steel core, airtires).

As with all my Makita tools, I’m a happy camper, they perform when they need too.

I really like the storage compartment and the hose storage right on the unit.

Thanks to all who wrote reviews, you’ve helped to make the MAC5200 better, is anyone from Makita taking notice?

I do have a spare set of originals tires (no miles).

I have been a carpenter for 15 years and have used alot of different compressors. This compressor is far to heavy and loud for the performance it puts out. The pressure drops too low before the motor kicks in and the wheels are too small for maneuvering jobsites. I have alot of makita tools I am happy with, but this is poorly designed and built tool.

I did extensive research before buying this pc. I was looking for the fastest, with the most memory, under $800. When I found this it was exactly what I was searching for. Have had it about a month and it works wonderfully so far. For the price, it is a steal

timely delivery, product described was exactly what was received. expect good quality from hp product from experience.

I auditioned numerous speakers before discovering Klipsch sort of by accident. It sounds overstated, but the simple truth is the rich perfect sound from these speakers exceeds anything I’ve ever heard. Polk, Cerwin Vega, Boston Acoustics, Infinity, Bose and many more that I or family members have owned all pale in comparison to these.

The first thing I popped in when I paired these up with my RC-52 center was Eagle Eye on BluRay. The speakers they replaced weren’t bad, but the difference was startling. Every little background sound in the soundtrack is clear and distinct. Dialog that was lost before became perfectly clear. Yet with the crisp clarity there is no harsh or mechanical quality to the sound. It remains rich and full. They handle music, video games and eveything else I have given them with equal ease.

If there is a volume level at which the sound quality detiorates it exceeds my ability to tolerate. If there is a better set of spaekers in any price range I have yet to hear them. I look forward to rounding out the system with Klipsch rear surrounds and subwoofer.

The ladder was ordered on June 23rd. It was supposed to ship in one week. They keep sending emails that it’s delayed. It’s now July 27th and I’ve been forced to find it at another retailer.
